How BikeGlow works

While BikeGlow® may feel like magic cycling protection when you’re using it, there’s nothing magic about the way it works. Technically, BikeGlow uses electroluminescent technology and a robust power unit to illuminate a 10-foot length of wire-like plastic. Practically, it’s a glowing strand of light that can be wrapped around any bicycle frame to make it glow.

It takes less than ten minutes to mount on your bike:

  1. Install 2AA batteries into the power unit.
  2. Use the included Velcro strap to attach the battery pack to your bike where ever it fits best - under the seat, on the handlebars, etc.
  3. Wrap the BikeGlow wire around your bike frame (be creative!), keeping it away from moving parts and brake cables
  4. Secure the end of the wire with the included cable ties
  5. Press the button once to make the wire glow solid, twice for slow flashing, and three times for fast flashing.

Now you’re ready to light up the night! You’re good to glow for 50 hours of continuous light or 120 hours flashing. You’ll feel safer riding your bike at night knowing you’re visible from all sides and can be seen from over 500 feet away by motorists.

How else to Get Your Glow On:

  • Bike trailers
  • Motorcycles
